Rump Reef Rendezvous
Rump Reef Rendezvous” is an intimate study of curve and choreography. The anemone’s tentacles fold and unfurl like a slow caress while three anemonefish slip through the veil, forming a quiet triangle of color and intent. Beyond, the sea falls to pure black, isolating the tease: soft arcs, parted strands, bodies half-revealed. Warm hues are returned with strobes so the anemone’s blush and the fishes’ markings stay true yet glow with quiet heat. Negative space heightens the tension—minimalist at a glance, richly suggestive up close. It’s a composition of restraint and invitation: curve, texture, and a lingering sense of approach that turns a fleeting pass into a rendezvous. Finished for contemporary display with a clean, floating presentation that lets the scene breathe—and hints at what happens just out of frame.
